SAP ByDesign Project Manager:

OBJECTIVE : Phoenix Business Consulting, a leader in Public Sector ERP Services is seeking a SAP Project Manager with experience in SAP ByDesign, SAP B1 or other Cloud ERP systems.

ROLE OVERVIEW : The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple software implementation projects ranging in size from small to very large. Role responsibilities / duties include ensuring projects are properly scoped, managed, and delivered according to the budget and timelines set by the project team. The right individual will collaborate with our experienced team of consultants and technical resources while engaging clients at both, operational, managerial, and executive levels. 

 DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Leading project teams to successfully complete projects on time, on budget 
  • Coordination of consulting and technical resources to capture client requirements 
  • Preparation of Project Charter and final Project Plan based on client requirements 
  • Staffing and scheduling projects to ensure project success 
  • Accurately forecast project hours and utilization metrics for all ongoing projects. 
  • Timely review and approval of project time postings 
  • Submission of project invoice requests and working with accounting to facilitate accurate weekly/monthly billing. 
  • Daily/Weekly/Monthly updates to the Project Plan along with communication to the client 
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal and external team members to ensure understanding and achievement of project deliverables 
  • Identify risks, issues, and potential impacts to the project scope in advance and engaging internal leadership and client management to develop appropriate action plans 
  • Prepare project close-out reports for customer sign-off 
  • Tracking and reporting of project status of actuals vs budget. 
  • Identify, prepare and track project change orders 
  • Maintain a target of 85% billable time 
  • The majority of the work will be performed remotely. However, duties include performing on-site work as needed (estimated at 25-30 %).

 

REQUIRED 

  • Have a passion for project management and delivering customer success 
  • 5 years’ experience in a previous Project Management position 
  • Previous experience working with ERP software. SAP Business ByDesign experience desired but not necessary. 
  • Working knowledge of Accounting processes 
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology is a plus. 
  • High attention to detail a must 
  • Ability to effectively track delegated tasks and keep team members focused on timely delivery of critical path items 
  • Ability to translate high-level business requirements and define the Key Deliverables and Major Milestones for delivery 
  • Strong meeting management skill, including agenda development, prioritizing requirements, identifying conflicts, and following up on action items. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a concise and courteous manner 
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with others in complex dynamic environment. 
  • Can identify and leverage strengths of individual team members to deliver project success 
  • Have a relentless pursuit of process delivery improvement

Project Manager (Contract Position): 

Role: Project Manager
Location: Jackson, MS
Duration: 1 year contract

Our client is seeking a Project Manager for 12 months contract. Under the direction of the Office of Unemployment Insurance, this position will define business process, develop, and report requirements. The position will also play a role in the improvement of the functionality of unemployment and workforce systems and participate in fraud analytics.

Minimum Technical Qualifications
  • 20+ experience in project management work, business analysis, or project administration.
  • 10+ Experience managing complex projects throughout all development phases.
  • 10+ Experience in planning, leading, gathering and analyzing business requirements.

Proposal Writer

We are currently seeking a full-time Proposal Writer in Sarasota, Florida at our Siesta Key office. The Proposal Writer will be responsible for responding to requests for proposals, preparing presentation decks for sales calls and a variety of other tasks.  The Proposal Writer will be working with a team of 3 other Proposal Writers for a successful software company which has been performing software implementations for over 20 years.  This is an entry level position and we will train the right Candidate. Qualifications:

  • MUST have extensive experience in word, excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate proposal development through all stages, including RFP review, technical and narrative writing, editing/proofreading, production, and submission.
  • Work alongside the proposal team to build a preliminary technical approach, identify win themes, address challenges, determine the estimated level of effort, create a pricing strategy, and draft a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
  • Write and prepare compelling responses in tandem with the proposal team, SMEs, and management, to include the cover letter, executive summary, past performance, project management, technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate new graphics to optimize the proposal impact.
  • Support other departments with additional proofreading/writing tasks as needed.
  • Work with management to review proposal documents (both RFx, any amendments, and the response) and acquire final sign-off.
  • Format and edit/proofread all proposals for accuracy, uniformity, and compliance before submission.
  • Contribute to the development of boilerplate documents for use in a future proposal development efforts.
