Biography:
Having joined Phoenix in March 2020, Richard Haugen is responsible for Phoenix sales and pre-sales efforts for SAP solutions such as SAP Business ByDesign, SAP Concur, SAP Cloud Analytics, and SAP S/4 HANA. He also works to develop SAP Business ByDesign market specific offerings for Life Sciences, Public Sector, Distribution and Manufacturing. His extensive history with SAP Products began with a remarkably successful implementation of SAP Business One With solid experience as an implementor, he eventually moved to the reseller side, working in Sales, Presales, Support and Consulting. Richard has a number of certifications from SAP and has been a popular guest speaker at the SAP Sales University. Richard is widely recognized as a product expert in SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Business One. Drawing from his technical knowledge, Richard has worked with hundreds of companies to help customers evaluate, select, and implement SAP Solutions. Richard is committed to helping Phoenix Business ByDesign customers understand the ins and out of this versatile and powerful cloud system.
When not working with customers, Richard enjoys skiing with his family, mountain biking, kayaking, and sailing his Hobie 16. An avid apiarist (that’s a beekeeper, folks), Richard is active with his sons’ Scout Troop as an assistant scout master and performs many hours of public service yearly as part of various Eagle Scout projects.
