Phoenix Business Inc. Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
Since 1998, Phoenix Business Inc. (Phoenix) has been an innovator using technology to solve complex global business problems. Our culture and values are rooted in service and integrity. Given the worldwide span of our workers, clients, suppliers, and partners, we recognize the global reach of our business practices and our public accountability.
Our company’s success is based on our philosophy to do what’s right, which is the underpinning of our corporate social responsibility policy. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is defined as the way in which businesses regulate themselves in order to ensure that all of their activities positively affect society as a whole which is in line with our philosophy to do what’s right. Since the formation of our company, we have pledged support to those countries that are in the most need where our resources can be leveraged, sustained, and be a force multiplier.
Phoenix’s corporate social responsibility commitments are built around two critical areas.
Helping People
We all share a responsibility to support and prepare individuals for success and to advocate for those most in need. Our company already leads by example in areas such as workplace safety, health and wellness, diversity and inclusion, training and development. Our CSR commitment goes further, by placing focus on those people outside of our company that are most in need.
Engaging Partners
It takes all of us working together to truly have an impact. Our company partners with global service organizations and vendors to ensure the success of our product. Our CSR efforts expand past these partners to include other organizations in the communities where we live and work to improve lives and society as a whole – by engaging in activities such as community service, philanthropy, and support and inclusion of those small, minority, and disadvantaged businesses and organizations.
What We’re Doing
Our current initiative addresses these two critical areas by supporting and enabling healthcare screenings as low to no cost to children and others. India was identified as having the highest population of children living in poverty with limited access to healthcare. Therefore, we sought out a partner and made responsible investments, both monetary and non-monetary, to address a need that most individuals take for granted. Basic healthcare screenings which have far-reaching consequences towards improving the lives of our most vulnerable populations.
With the advent of the pandemic, our initiative has expanded to include the development and implementation of COVID related apps and technology and include screening and care for our essential workers Partnering with local nonprofits, physicians, and socially conscious healthcare providers, we are expanding our CSR initiative to Sri Lanka and other countries targeting populations in extreme poverty and making an impact on those lives that are especially fragile given the current pandemic environment.
