We all know an “idea-person”.
It’s that friend from school who had the answers to life’s most complex problems. It’s that colleague at your workplace who fills out the suggestion box at the rate of one idea per day. It’s that neighbour in your residential society who’s always thinking up new projects for the neighbourhood.
How often have we looked at them and gone, “Wow. How come I didn’t think of that?” or “Where do they get these ideas from?”
But according to renowned entrepreneur, marketing guru and best-selling author Seth Godin, that may be the wrong question to ask.
I agree.
Because, come to think of it, we’re all “idea people” at the end of the day. When the lightning bolt strikes, we do tend to draw up some really interesting ideas a few times a week.
What really matters is whether we’re able to drive these ideas to completion.
And that’s where people of action win hands down.
A person of action will take, possibly, just one idea out of the many, and drum it up until it turns into something of value.
How do they do that?
By using the right combination of motivation and acumen, powered by robust system like SAP S/4HANA to unlock trusted data for better decision making.

Outdated tools and technologies can only hinder the transformative and almost transcendental process where an idea becomes a theory, product, process, business or anything else of value.
So, arguably, a person of action, armed with the right technology at hand, is changing the world more than ten idea-people at a time.
If you’re a man of action, tools like SAP S/4HANA, can be your biggest ally. Find out more.
